The congregation is sustained by its excellent staff and generous volunteers in a wide range of committees and projects. In addition, synagogue organizations such as the Sisterhood and the Jewish War Veterans Post, and a variety of chavurot, enrich our cultural and service options.

BIJ is deep within my heart. I wasn’t raised Jewish and didn’t know a lot at the beginning; I didn’t know the songs or prayers, why some holidays are celebrated, and the meanings of rituals and symbols.
