For the very youngest kids in the congregation, Tot Shabbat helps develop a love of Torah and for the synagogue. It's a "holy ride" of a service conducted by storyteller and educator Jonathan Bayer in parallel with our regular Shabbat morning service.
Tot Shabbat features plushy Torahs, tons of guitar music, along with unbridled dancing and praying. Parents, grandparents and children sing, play instruments, say blessings, share "wine," challah and an Kiddush.
It's a great experience.
