Congregation Beth Israel-Judea is an inclusive, egalitarian Jewish community that values every one of its diverse members and welcomes all guests. Formed through a merger of Reform and Conservative congregations, Congregation Beth Israel-Judea celebrates a wide range of religious practices and observances, from the liberal to the more traditional. This unique blend has created a distinctive style of worship that is central to our identity as a congregation.
We are a warm and welcoming multi-generational community. We encourage participation by all, including our many interfaith families, our seniors, and our youth.

We value the spirit that music brings to our worship and enjoy active participation at our family-friendly services. Our worship services engage us in many ways — they inspire us, they move us, they make us think — through thoughtful sermons that connect the Torah to our daily lives and current events, through beautiful music, and through an array of other practices linking us to our tradition. We also value the synagogue as our Beit Midrash, with a vibrant religious and Hebrew school program and a full range of stimulating lifelong learning classes. And finally, we are committed to social justice and the fundamental concept of tikkun olam. There is a place for everyone at Beth Israel-Judea.
